2027: ADC Pledges to Take Power from APC

The African Democratic Congress (ADC) has pledged to take decisive action to unseat the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the 2027 general elections in Imo State.

Chilos Godsent, the ADC National Vice Chairman for the South East, made this declaration during the party’s Coalition Partners Meeting in Owerri, themed “Operation Power Must Change Hand 2027 in Imo State.”

Chilos asserted that the ADC would spearhead a ballot revolution aimed at removing what he described as a reactionary, ineffective, oppressive, and exploitative APC government that, according to him, has subjected Imo citizens to five years of suffering and brutality.

Over 300 party loyalists, including defectors from other parties and groups, attended the event.

Speakers at the rally strongly criticized the Imo State government’s increasing impunity and its blatant disregard for citizens’ fundamental rights, blaming the administration for worsening economic conditions in the state.
